Oh The Webs We Weave
Oh The Webs We Weave

talk about getting over a fear of spiders (I still am afraid of spiders) My husband came got me to shoot a garden spider
When he showed me where he was, I walked around and found/shot about 12 different ones.
I used my macro filter on some, talk about shaking LOL
they would run up the web SO FAST
One caught a grasshopper, spun it up so fast, the poor thing didnt have a chance
I hope you dont get tired of seeing them, I have about 20 done LOL

Have a nice night!!!

The dof sets the picture up beautifully. It makes the design of the web stand out perfectly and then we get to see the little bugger that weaved it. Nature gave it quite a skillful way to catch its food. Love its colors and markings. Gorgeous closeup my friend.
Have a wonderful day and take care.

Marvelus detail and clarity, Peaches! I think I would rather meet a crocodile than some of the spiders we have out here!

These guys are SO cool!!! I have a thing about spiders as well but have learned to appreciated their amazing qualities, I just don't want to touch them!! Wonderful capture my friend, around here we call these "zipper spiders".

I'm with Carol - there's so much to see via a macro that the human eye just misses entirely...course, that's probably why you're shaking in your boots, Peaches! :) But truly, the more you are exposed to what you fear, the more desensitized you become of it...then you can look and really SEE nature's wonders! Beautiful macro work here - crisp, clear and full of marvelous detail! WTG!
