The dof sets the picture up beautifully. It makes the design of the web stand out perfectly and then we get to see the little bugger that weaved it. Nature gave it quite a skillful way to catch its food. Love its colors and markings. Gorgeous closeup my friend. Have a wonderful day and take care.

These guys are SO cool!!! I have a thing about spiders as well but have learned to appreciated their amazing qualities, I just don't want to touch them!! Wonderful capture my friend, around here we call these "zipper spiders".

I'm with Carol - there's so much to see via a macro that the human eye just misses entirely...course, that's probably why you're shaking in your boots, Peaches! :) But truly, the more you are exposed to what you fear, the more desensitized you become of it...then you can look and really SEE nature's wonders! Beautiful macro work here - crisp, clear and full of marvelous detail! WTG!
