Oh The Webs We Weave
Uploaded: August 20, 2011
talk about getting over a fear of spiders (I still am afraid of spiders) My husband came got me to shoot a garden spider
When he showed me where he was, I walked around and found/shot about 12 different ones.
I used my macro filter on some, talk about shaking LOL
they would run up the web SO FAST
One caught a grasshopper, spun it up so fast, the poor thing didnt have a chance
I hope you dont get tired of seeing them, I have about 20 done LOL
Have a nice night!!!

Superb detail, clarity, focus, dof & macro work here, Peaches! Beautifully done & looking forward to more!frank w. degenhardt August 21, 2011
The dof sets the picture up beautifully. It makes the design of the web stand out perfectly and then we get to see the little bugger that weaved it. Nature gave it quite a skillful way to catch its food. Love its colors and markings. Gorgeous closeup my friend.Tiia Vissak August 21, 2011
a cool close-up! #9618752John Connolly August 21, 2011

These guys are SO cool!!! I have a thing about spiders as well but have learned to appreciated their amazing qualities, I just don't want to touch them!! Wonderful capture my friend, around here we call these "zipper spiders". #9619062Robert K. Bemus August 21, 2011
Great shot and great job overcoming your arachnophobia, Peaches!! #9619375Val Feldman August 22, 2011
I'm with Carol - there's so much to see via a macro that the human eye just misses entirely...course, that's probably why you're shaking in your boots, Peaches! :) But truly, the more you are exposed to what you fear, the more desensitized you become of it...then you can look and really SEE nature's wonders! Beautiful macro work here - crisp, clear and full of marvelous detail! WTG! #9620253Ellen Hodges August 23, 2011
