There are about 15,000 Black Tail Prairie Dogs at the Badlands, They have a very sophisticated vocal system for alerting each other about danger. They have a different sound for each kind of predator they are announcing, and I sure I could hear them talking about that Oregon tourist as we left..LOL..

What a nice prairie dog you met, Denny! Both images are wonderful, and so are the titles! Last time I took pictures of those creatures, I had the same thoughts about what they were talking about. They were probably telling each other exactly where I was positioned, that the closest one should stay in his hole a little longer.
