Well I didn't do a whole lot to this because I am leaving tonight for a week. I cropped, straightened, used a few Topaz Adjust filters, blur tool, flipped even though the words are backwards now on the building and boats, but I couldn't actually read them I figured it didn't matter. The only thing I didn't do that I wanted to was put some birds in the sky. I have no pictures of birds to do that and painting them looks so hokey! Hope you all enjoy this one. So many things to look at in this shot....really a neat location! Thanks Dale! :~)

Dale wicked good photo for the WWYD selection. I loved the colors and their combination in this shot.

OK here is what I did:
Cropped - sky replacement - levels adjust - selected water areas and did a multiply blend - increased vibrancy slightly - applied sharpening and then a selected high pass filter on the lower portion of the shot -selected red crates in the center right and reduced red channel saturation - also at some point in the flow I adjusted shadows and highlights.

I would have liked to flip but wanted to keep the lettering correct so did not. I think a bit of add to the front of the Blue Dolphin would also be good, but just ran out of editing time.

Wow what a great shot. Like Aimee said there is so much to look at.
I fell in love with the first boat. So I attempted my very first sky/water replacement. Do not know if this is the way to do it "but" here is what I did. Found a sky and water, moved it on top of the cropped boat, opacity at 74% because I did not want to have to erase a bizillon lines. Erased the boat and that part of the dock. Saturated some and backlite. Then posterized at 23.

  many colors
many colors
This was trying different things to see what works because I have no clue as to what I am doing, I know I crop, I ovelayed a sunbeach/ocean picture that is what help me get the ripples in the water. I like the way it cast the light on the building and the seagulls. then I brighten it up some.
