Wow! New look here in BP, again! =D I just noticed I can add a specific photo as "my favorite photo" or add a specific photographer too! Then I went to check out in the members area and after being there just a few minutes ago, I find a whole new look with new features!!! Awesome job BP!!!!

Dennis, I ran into the same issue at first. Apparently, if you go directly to their gallery, you won't find a link to favor their photos or themselves. It seems like the only way to do it is if you see any of their photos in either any contest, the EFP section, new arrivals, etc. then from there, you can click on their photo, and you'll see the link. Hope this helps! Nobi, no! lol I don't think you'll end up being in someone's "least" fave! lol =P

I would also like to add my thanks to BP for the new features. I love the way you can now move your pictures around in your gallery using drag-and-drop. Much better presentation. I also like that I can add a photographer to favorites and get updates on new images. But I must say that the current way to do that seems very cumbersome if you already know someone you wan to add. If I understand correctly, I must find one of their pictures in a contest, the EFP or new arrivals in order to add them to the list. I would suggest that BP make the "add to favorite photographers" link on the photographer's home page or all image pages. Otherwise someone will need to spend a lot of time hunting and pecking to find an image by a specific photographer. Not sure how much trouble that is, but it would certainly make it easier to add people to your favs. Other than that, thanks BP for the new features. Great job! Mick Burkey

I hate to sound like a total ditz, but I have clicked on at least 50 pictures and there is not an "add to my favorite photos" link at the bottom of any of them. Maybe I'm going blind?? Help...

Mick, this answer may sound stupid, but why don't you close all your internet windows (ALL OF THEM, just in case). Then open internet again. Come back to BP. Click NOT on your own pictures, but rather someone else's pictures. However, this you'll have to do by going to the Editor's pick section, or new arrivals, or any of the contests. Scroll to the bottom of the picture. You should see a little icon with a little blue camera and the link that says add to favorites. Hope that helps. =D

I'm getting error messages when I click on "add to my favorite photos" or "add to my favorite photographers." But I imagine this is a temporary glitch.

Karen - The "add to my favorites" link is found on the images that are posted in the Photo Contest and in the Editor's Pick. When you click on an image from those two areas the links should be at the bottom of the page.

I've noticed that you can also set a photographer as "a Favorite", if you use the BP Search Window, for the person's name... in the results that appear, click on one of those photos---you should see the "Add to my Favorite Photographers" link in the lower right. (ie, you don't have to just search through Recent Enties, or Editor's Picks.) So, I'd long since had some of my favorite photographers set up in my Internet Explorer Favorites---I just did a search on each of their names, clicked an image in the results, and added them to my BP Favorite Photographers...

It is a puzzle about that Search feature, though---I searched on you, Mick, by doing "Burkey" and it came back with 63 total photos in the results... (including a Burkey that wasn't you, of course!) yet you have 106 images on display in your gallery; not sure why it didn't find every one of yours, and show them to me in the Results. And, I confirmed for myself... the photos that DO come back in the Search Results, are not just "medallion" images (I thought initially, they might be)---ie, in the Results were your Contest Winners, some of your EFP, and some "plain" images (no medals yet!)---but any one that I clicked on, gave me the "Add to Favorites" option. I'd think BP should enable the "Add" option, EVERYWHERE in the system, for ANY image you can view... vs. only relying on Search Results, or Recent Entries, or Browse EFP... But I do like the changes!
