I am a new member and I was just given this link as I really wanted to get some feedback from the respected community here on some pictures I recently submitted.
Is this the best way as past attempts via photo uploads have resulted in "0" replies for many of them.
Also, I wanted to note that these photos are all taken with a primitive, .31 digital and having said this and keeping in mind the camera's limitations, I wanted to know their thoughts on if there is talent there.

Thanks,

Scott

Scott I think your photos are good shots. If your mp's are low like that try doing some editing in photoshop so they are not meant to be crystal clear.

Oh, cool... I found your pictures. I'll go through them individually, but they look good based on the thumbnails....

One thing you might think about, though I don't know how well it would work starting with only .31 megapixels, is a program called genuine fractals. This could help so you could at least print slightly larger photos without seeing the pixelation.

Here's a site:

I've been thinking about trying this with my 2.1 megapixel camera, but haven't gotten it yet.

Ok, I went through your pictures individually and critiqued them. I hope that my critiques are helpful rather than discouraging. I really think you have a lot of potential (especially given that your camera is probably going to be a classic soon).

I just recently found this site myself. Besides the critiques on my photos, I've found that surfing through the winners and through the discussions is really helpful. I try to see what makes a photo a winner so that I can better my own work.

Good Luck!

Pam

I appreciate your insights and value them very much. I guess I have a problem with the whole ethical thing of changing my photos via photoshop, etc. as I feel this takes away from the sincerity of the shot.
I may try the suggestions or, better yet, get a new camera.

Best Regards,

Scott

  Hi Scott...
I have commented on the ones you have posted here... I think you have a nice feel for photography and I do feel your camera is not helping you being that all the I veiwed lacked clarity... I think getting a better camera will help with that and I think your just working at your photography will show great works!!! so keep on shooting :)

  Jill,
You are a blessing and I sincerely thank you. These photos, the 10 or so, are my very first experiments with photography.
