About Michael R. McKenney
I am a medical qualitative transcriptionist, working out of my home. When I was a very young man in the United States Army stationed in Germany, I was introduced to photography and bought my very first 35-mm SLR, an Asahi Pentax. I eventually took a part-time civilian job running the Photo Lab at the USO Center, teaching GI's how to develop negatives and print B&W pictures. Today I do enjoy digital photography, and have greatly enjoyed my "darkroom" work on the computer, being able to cut, crop, dodge, and burn, and even change colors, contrast, hue, and saturation with ease. I live with the wife of my youth, and we've been married for 50 years. We have 2 grown sons and a mini Dachshund, Tillie. Photography enables me to view and share the matchless beauty that God has displayed on this planet.
