lets just say I had a wonderful time getting away but let me say it was soooo cold. this was taken with temp at 48 and wind blowing at 20mph or higher. that was our luck through the whole week. WINDY and cold I could hardly stand out in it let alone think about my setting.

I like it Rita. Lots of depth with the overlapping ridges and the layer of clouds. They sure do look like their namesake.

Based on most pictues I've see of the Smokies, this was an exceptionally clear day.

I'm seeing a yellow fringe round the tree stump.

Yeah, the yellow fringe which carries into the trees on the right of the frame is the only issue I see.

Beautiful-I love the cool colors of this-makes it look cold! I don't see the yellow fringe, but I am not sure what I am supposed to be seeing either...

I am on a much smaller screen with my laptop so I am not seeing yellow fringe. I do likethis image but think that the shadows could be opened up just a tad.

I like the many layers in this photo and also the lone tree standing by itself... I would like to see the shadows opened up just a bit.

The yellow fringe is so slight on my monitor, I think you could almost wish it away. Agree with the others on opening the shadows, but with care not to take it out of balance. I think I would also clone out some of the top branches on the right edge and I may bring the top down just a little so the line of clouds doesn't compete with those beautiful smokey blue ridges. Very nice scenic. Worth a little suffering to get it, I think.

I like this image very much Rita and for me there is no yellow fringe to detract from it and I even pulled it up on my screen to a 300% magnification.
Praise the Lord for my less than perfect eyesight is what I say!

thanks so much ok I think I fixed the yellow fringe the best I could and brought out the shadows, got rid of the branches on the right. but just couldn't get the right crop to lower the sky.
