Janet, thanks for the trip down the memory lane! Have used 3.5, 8inch floppy disks and then upgrated to Iomega zip drives....LOL. Hard to believe now we had them.I, too, use Elements but also have the full version (thanks for the tip about the photographer's pricing, Jim!). Generally I start with Elements and use it unless there are things I want to do for which I need the full version. I started with PS when it came on floppies and upgraded until it got to CS3. Now, thanks to Jim's tip, I've got the latest CC version. I also use Luminar, and Anthropics Smart Photo Editor is good for some things. On the iPhone I usually just use the regular software and send it to the computer for any treatment, but I like Slow Shutter, too.
Zip drives! And the Bernoulli Box!Janet, thanks for the trip down the memory lane! Have used 3.5, 8inch floppy disks and then upgrated to Iomega zip drives....LOL. Hard to believe now we had them.
I still have a few of the Zip disks around, don't think I have anything to read them though.Janet, thanks for the trip down the memory lane! Have used 3.5, 8inch floppy disks and then upgrated to Iomega zip drives....LOL. Hard to believe now we had them.
I think I got rid of all those a few years ago, along with the Bernoullis, floppies, serial and firewire cables, and a crt monitor or two. Should have started a museum.I still have a few of the Zip disks around, don't think I have anything to read them though.

Agree, Topaz, Topaz Topaz. . Specifically, I use Topaz B&W Effects for almost all of my B&W Conversion (although I've been using my camera's internal film emulations also). I use Topaz Simplify,on a lot of my color photos. I use it for structure / dynamics functions, detail and such. Especially like the local adjustments module. I even use the Simplify function occasionally. I alsohave Topaz Impressions which gets used less, but I still like.Topaz, Topaz and more Topaz... Any and/or all of them. They all have their own reasons to love them.
I hear lots of good things being said about Topaz. I may have to try them out someday.Agree, Topaz, Topaz Topaz. .
