where's the best place to purchase///
on a budget/ is buying "used" a problem?

Hi Mary,
This strobe is handled exclusively by Calumet. You may find one used, but since they are relatively recent equipment you may not get a great deal on a used one. This is a good unit for portrait work in a variety of locations. It would also be a good start on lighting equipment for architectural situations. You may also want to check out strobes from a company called Alien Bee, www.alienbees.com. These units are somewhat more modestly priced.
