Here is one of the light painting we did at the Outer Banks before Sandy came. Jeff this is Not steel wool. Here are a few others. #1498430lisa anderson November 14, 2012
Very cool, Beth! I like the first one and the flying disc one the best. How do they look cropped closer to the light? #10419152Jeff E Jensen November 14, 2012
Very cool, Beth! What was your light source? #10419198Rita K. Connell November 15, 2012
theses are awesome Beth. but I really like your first one the best. but I would clone out that little bit of light on the bottom left #10419671Aimee C. Eisaman November 15, 2012
The first one is my favorite too! I just love the flyaway hair like things on it. Do tell what you did. This is very unique...not something I've seen before. Your other shots seem a bit soft or too bright maybe that the details in the light are lost. Maybe a tighter crop on the first one would look nice? :~) #10419682Michael Kelly November 15, 2012
Very different than I have seen before. I too like the original post the best with the streamers coming off the light.I agree with the suggestions of a tighter crop which would also do away with the light Rita mentioned. #10420549

Looks like you had some fun. The original post is my favorite as well. I love the fly away strands of light. And I agree, clone out the bits of light on the bottom left and you're good to go.Fess up . . . what did you use to create these images? #10420559

I like "Stick Dancers" too. That one reminds me of Devin for some reason. :) #10420560Beth Spencer November 16, 2012
Thanks everyone! I went back and worked on the first one, cropped it closer and tweaked a few other things.Beth Spencer November 16, 2012
Teresa, I forgot to say that "I am glad this reminded you of Devin", but I hit the button to soon and coffee is just kicking in. #10420917Aimee C. Eisaman November 16, 2012
I'd say something like this needs to have an even amount of black on all four sides. #10421113Beth Spencer November 16, 2012
Aimee I recropped the last 2, what do you think or suggest? #10421487Beth Spencer November 16, 2012
The last one looked brighter so I adjusted the hue/saturation. #10421534Elaine Hessler November 16, 2012
I agree with the above comments and like your lat edit a lot! Reminds me of hair blowing in the wind. Reminds me of those floating rings in the first superman movie... #10421574Peter W. Marks November 16, 2012
