Here is one of the light painting we did at the Outer Banks before Sandy came. Jeff this is Not steel wool. Here are a few others. #1498430

Very cool, Beth! I like the first one and the flying disc one the best. How do they look cropped closer to the light? #10419152

Jeff E Jensen November 14, 2012

Very cool, Beth! What was your light source? #10419198

Rita K. Connell level-classic November 15, 2012

theses are awesome Beth. but I really like your first one the best. but I would clone out that little bit of light on the bottom left #10419671

Aimee C. Eisaman November 15, 2012

The first one is my favorite too! I just love the flyaway hair like things on it. Do tell what you did. This is very unique...not something I've seen before. Your other shots seem a bit soft or too bright maybe that the details in the light are lost. Maybe a tighter crop on the first one would look nice? :~) #10419682

Very different than I have seen before. I too like the original post the best with the streamers coming off the light.

I agree with the suggestions of a tighter crop which would also do away with the light Rita mentioned. #10420549

Looks like you had some fun. The original post is my favorite as well. I love the fly away strands of light. And I agree, clone out the bits of light on the bottom left and you're good to go.

Fess up . . . what did you use to create these images? #10420559

I like "Stick Dancers" too. That one reminds me of Devin for some reason. :) #10420560

Beth Spencer November 16, 2012

Thanks everyone! I went back and worked on the first one, cropped it closer and tweaked a few other things.
Here is another one and not sure about the green smoke, should I leave it or try to make it dark?
These are fuses that go into fireworks. One of them Rocky added some chemicals and wrapped it again. Hopefully he will find some more colors for me. He said these don't throw as many sparks on him as the steel wool but they smell... Jeff if you are interested I can give you the website he gets this stuff at... #10420911

Teresa, I forgot to say that "I am glad this reminded you of Devin", but I hit the button to soon and coffee is just kicking in. #10420917

Aimee C. Eisaman November 16, 2012

I'd say something like this needs to have an even amount of black on all four sides. #10421113

Beth Spencer November 16, 2012

Aimee I recropped the last 2, what do you think or suggest? #10421487

Beth Spencer November 16, 2012

The last one looked brighter so I adjusted the hue/saturation. #10421534

I agree with the above comments and like your lat edit a lot! Reminds me of hair blowing in the wind. Reminds me of those floating rings in the first superman movie... #10421574

Man! You guys get into some weird stuff!
I too like the modified original 'Light painting' best and also the Flying Disc.
All very interesting Beth. #10421640

This looks like so much fun. Maybe I will be able to phinally learn how to do this when we next get together.. I also like the edited first one, but stick figures is a close second. #10421945

I am a bit late on this...very cool Beth...I can hardly wait to try some of this but since I am a fire hazard I had better do it in the middle of a lake! #10423490
