Description

An important strategic point on a 466 m high hill, between the left bank of the Rjecina River and Grobnik Field, its owners have changed since ancient times: Illyrians, Romans, Goths and Franks. In the 10th century the castle became a part of the Croatian lands, and in 1225 a possession of the Counts of Krk.
