Description

Line from a song ~ Composer, Eastburn Winner wrote this old folk song in 1868. It's hard to believe that I learned this song in elementary school in music class. The version I learned was, My wife & I live all alone in a little old house we call our own. I love coffee she loves tea & we're as happy as can be. Ha Ha Ha, you & me little brown jug how I love thee, (repeat)... The original version was... My wife & I live all alone, In a little log hut, we called our own She loved gin, & I loved rum I tell you what we'd lots of fun... The peppy song & lyrics are actually about a man & his wife & their hard life due to alcohol. As kids, we just loved to sing the ha ha ha part! s://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07T7rREzYMc F7.1 ss 1/13 iso 100 @50mm converted to B&W w/ grunge edit
