Description

---
Farmer's Best Friend!
----
Last Saturday was the occasion of the Annual Plow Meet at the Howell Living History Farm. Several of my Camera Club friends enjoyed the day with me. It was a fun day!
----
Throughout, wagon tours of the farm were available. As one such tour passed by, I noted an important passenger in the wagon.
----
It wasn't until this moment that I noticed that the wheels on this vehicle were definitely NOT of 19th Century vintage. Everything else on the farm is completely authentic--from the buildings, farming implements, produce, food, animals--down to the clothing of the farm families and hands.
----
A visit to THIS FARM is truly an EDUCATION!

Gotta Love a MAN & his dog shot. No lap dog ,bow in the hair painter nails, pampered purse puppy.
A down in the dirt chase the fox kill the snake farm dog who sleeps under the porch eats table scraps tossed in the yard.
Old Country Folks don't treat their dogs like city People and most Urban folks would be UP IN ARMS over what they might think HORRID TREATMENT but trust me you will never find a MORE LOYAL DEPENDABLE FRIEND than an old FARM DOG !!!!

Yes I've been KNOWN to tell a TALE or TWO every now & Again. Glad you enjoy them ;o) !!

The way you cropped and composed the picture to start with is fantastic. Love the look as it was your desire to make the pooch the main attraction of the picture. He does seem to be enjoying the ride. Beautiful colors and I love that treatment my friend. #10312709
