The best underwater Camera

Hi,
I would like some information on the best underwater camera - I swim with wild dolpins and do not need a camera that takes photos too deep as I don't dive too deep while swimming with the dolphins - I usually snorkel out in the bay where they come to play and have taken some awesome photos of the dolpins at the surface. I have been using an underwater disposable camera and have been getting the most unbelievable images so can imagine what I would get with a great camera. Can you give me any advise on this - also the best underwater digital camera in your opinion. And what type of film would you recommend tho I get the best images with 400 ASA. The images that I have taken, I have them scanned and made into giclees prints on canvas and they really look realy great.
Thanks

The only camera that I know of that's made for underwater is a nikonos. Don't know the price but expect it to be high. I haven't heard of any underwater digital cameras. But you might look into underwater housing for cameras.
As for film choice. Depending on how deep the water is, clear shallow water may give you the right kind of light for day light film. But many times, a flash is needed to prevent everything from being blue. Anything below ten feet, as a guess, film type wouldn't matter, you'd have to use strobes.
