Photography Question

What's a nice gadget for a new darkroom

In this day and age of people talking about digital-this and digital-that, I feel like I'm going backwards, but I love the science of photography as much as the act of picture taking. So I started turning a bathroom and its linen closet into a (hopefully functional) black & white darkroom.

I have it almost all setup, with an enlarger, lensboard, lens, and negative carrier. A grain magnifier, two timers, and a set of filters for the enlarger. 2 safelights, a small one in the linen closet (my dry side) and then one in the bathroom (wet side). Trays, tongs, funnels, graduates, thermometers, chemicals, etc...So I feel like I'm set up with all the essentials.

My question is for anyone who's built a darkroom or worked in one. If you could have had one thing (anything - gadets, ideas, techniques) you have now, that you wish you had in the begining what would it be?

Thank you...

squeegee for negatives and a film dryer.
I've seen a squeegee made by glueing windshield wiper blades to small pieces of wood or to the inside parts of a pair of tongs. And I've seen a film dryer made from a hair blower with a tube of cardboard or plastic tape around it with something at the other end to keep the spirals in the tube.
Cd player was something I liked having.
