Photo Paper Sizes

I am looking for photo paper that is available in sizes 8x10 and 11x14. Why is this so hard to find? Any suggestions as to where I can get this and what is the best to get?
Thank you in advance.

I don't believe anybody makes it. Get 8.5x11 and 11x17 or 13x19, and a paper cutter. Or get a long ruler and a sharpee and hand cut.
Try Ilford. Their Galerie or Printasia. See if Best Buy has it. I like Pictorico also, but you'll probably have to order it online.

Thanks. I ended up printing on a 13x19 and cutting it down. I did get a paper cutter but it was not wide enough. I need to get a sharpee.
Thanks again.

Occasionally, I have picked up Epson glossy paper in the 8x10 size at Staples or Best Buy. They also have it available online.

I have been using Red River Paper, which is a good paper and does give you 8x10 and 11x14. Try them they are good.

  Hi Jennifer,
I buy my 11 x 14 paper at Red River Paper. Their papers are excellent and less expensive than most others. They also have ICC profiles for Epson, Canon and HP printer. Try out a sample pack at www.redriverpaper.com

Frames often come in 4x6, 5x6, 8x10, 11x14 and so forth because other medias of art work are in those sizes, and because my old medium format camera made images automatically for those sizes. But, with the massive movement to 35mm and 35 mm SLR's, the paper community changed their sizing accordingly. Not all made the change, but many have.

Now, if only the ready-made frame industry would catch up.

I meant to say frames used to come in 5x7, not 5x6. Some came in 4x5. But, again, this is because art work came in those sizes.

The sizes of 9x12 are more for photographic work. It's a pain, I agree. Especially when one composes images based on the sensor size, and then tries to place the composition into the size of the paper or frame. It doesn't work as easily as the medium format cameras. This is the challenge!

Try Ebay - search on "photo paper 8x10"

Epson has a great selection of sizes on line including the size you are looking for and paper by the roll. They also have very reasonable shipping rates.

Both Epson and Red River have sheet photo paper in the sizes you're looking for. Just do an online search.

I checked out both sites and I really, really like Red River. Thank you so much. I'm tempted to order some right now, but I will hold off until I have used what I have.

It says it is compatible with all ink types. That's great.

Again, I appreciate all help!
