Use a very small aperture and try again.

The TTL auto mode of the Prmaster FTD 7000M is not compatible with digital SLRs. It has the traditional TTL for use with film cameras, which meters off-the-film while the shutter is open. Digital cameras cannot use this system. For TTL metering, the D200 requires a speedlight compatible with their i-TTL system. It needs a low power pre-flash for metering just before the shutter opens, then the main flash after the shutter opens.

If the Promaster FTD 7000M has a non-TTL auto setting, it can be used in that mode and set the corresponding ISO and aperture on the D200 in A or M modes. Alternatively, you can use the Promaster set in manual output mode and conrol the flash exposure by setting the appropriate lens aperture via the guide number formula, or trial and error.

First Sign in (in a new tab, middle mouse button). Second, follow this link. Scroll to the bottom of the page there and browse for the image to upload. You should size the picture to 75 by 75 pixels first.

  Thanks Joseph. :)

If you're new to computers, I hope you're using an iMac. They are pretty simple to learn, while you kind of have to grow up on Windows (like me) for its use to be easy.

If you want to put a few images on my blog, first size the long sides on the pictures to 500 pixels. Are you using any programs for resizing? A super simple, free one is Picasa2, but it only is for Windows. A more advanced one is Helicon Filter (also has free version). GIMP is another free one, and it works on Mac, too.

After sizing the pictures, upload them to ImageShack. Then email me the links to the pictures.

  Hi Joe,
I took it off the blog. A blog is just a website, nothing special. There's nothing to be worried about. I thought you asked me to put your pictures on it, but now I took them off.

My camera: Fujifilm S5200. The photos were all taken with the fixed-attached lens (like on all prosumer non-slrs). For some of the macros, I used HOYA macro lenses (they are like magnifying glasses). The sharpens is largely due to the careful editing, though.
