Missing Galleries!?! Please help. I have had my website with BP for a while and update it regularly. Today, I had a disaster. I added a new category for Christmas Portraits. That all went along as usual and everything was uploaded fine. However, when I click on Galleries, guess what? ALL of my galleries (nine) are missing! I now have only two things under galleries - Christmas and a thing that says More Photos. It appears that somehow everything that was just dumped together. I checked under the Admin page and there it appears that all of my categories are still intact. However, I cannot get them to show. I have already emailed BP. I am hoping to get a solution quickly from someone smart (yes, in this group). Any other time that I have emailed BP, it has taken over a week for a response. I don't have time to waste. I just did a big promo leading everyone to my website. Yikes. Does anyone know how to fix this? My website is www.nancycassell.com It doesn't look too impressive, now, does it? Hi Nancy, Although I am not a Deluxe BetterPholio specialist, I just checked in on your admin. center and believe this is an issue with the Christmas gallery being designated as your parent gallery. You then have the other galleries within your parent gallery. I have forwarded your email on to Amy@betterphoto.com who can promptly reply to help you out. Thanks so much,

Thanks, Heather, for the prompt response. I understand what happened now... but still don't know how to remedy it. I must have hit Create/Update Parent Categories instead of Create/Update Categories. My question is, if I delete the one parent category will it go back to the way it was? I'm scared if I hit delete that it will delete all of the contents... which means all of my photos. It seems to have lumped everything in the one parent category, which I created for Christmas photos. It doesn't show any subcategories under it and it scrambled the photos. However, if I go to Create/Update categories, all of the categories are still there. I'm reluctant to hit Delete. Amy also responded today. She misunderstood my initial email and thought I wanted parent categories, so told me how to create those and more subcategories. I don't think she looked at the Admin Center like you did. So, I have replied asking what will happen if I delete the parent category Christmas. Hopefully, it will undo the Parent, and restore the original categories. Lesson to other website users - be careful when you go to create/update categories. This mess was a complete mistake created by me hitting create/update parent categories. Resolved! Amy said to just hit delete and it would all go back to normal. It did.
