Photography Question

useing a light meter

I understand the reason you use a light meter and how it tells you what to set your camera to. My question is this, I have a canon 300D and I dont know how to use the light meter. Can some one please tell me. Im new to photography and I dont have an owners manual. Thanks in advance.

Canon is really good when it comes to support. The manual you need is readily available.

How to use a light meter:

Once-upon-a-time
We photographer types were forced to use tables and charts etc. Now your camera has all of this plus so much more built-in. While everyone might be somewhat tempted to give you a long winded distortion on how to use a light meter, I for one charge you to read the manual. You will surly find it a satisfying read.

  HI!

I am not sure what type of light meter you have, but I have a Sekonic L358.

Here is a site on how to use it!!

http://ilp.tlcwe.com/L358.html

It helped me out!! Now I get perfect lighting all the time!!

Hope this helps!!

Kristy
