Macro lens i got a new macro lens for my Nikon D100 and each time I take a picture there is a dark spot on the bottom of the picture. any idea as to why this is happening?

Well sometimes if you go a little to close in on an image the cameras shadow starts falling on the picture, creating a dark area on the lower part of the image (depending where the light is coming from). Otherwise I wouldn't know unless there is somthing wrong with the lens like dirt or the glass is warped.
