Jenn, It looks as if they used an enormous number of blue lights to achieve the effects . . . the site is a lighting and staging company . . . and looks to be very, very high end ($$$$$). There are spotlights with colored filters you can buy at the local home improvement store. Spotlights get hot and they have to be positioned carefully for electrical and heat safety (as well as visual effect). You might want some lighting help from the folks at the reception hall . . . mostly with the electrical requirements to power them to keep from tripping their circuit breakers and how/where they can be positioned so people won't trip over them (or their power cords) and not be a heat hazard. It can be done . . . but it will take a good amount of work if this is being done under the "do-it-yourself" plan. -- John Lind

I am also a 'Jenn' and am getting married next year in a winter wedding. I know what you are talking about with Melissa River's wedding it was beautiful and what I had in mind. Do you know if there is anywhere on the net that I can find pictures of her wedding, for ideas. I would really appreciate your help. You are the only person I have come across that is knows what I am thinking about. Thank you, Jenn
