fireworks-
See the attached photo of fireworks, taken with SLR 35mm manual camera, fuji superia film speed 100, at F-8, time exposure, no. of seconds not noted. Would this photo be beter, that is the colors more vivid, etc. if I chang the setting to F-11? Please advise. Thanks. Paul

I used Fuji Reala 100 on bulb mode F2.8... you can see the results in my gallery........ it worked pretty good!

I think the time the shutter remains open is more of a factor in how much of the true colors emerge. I tried my first attempt at fireworks this past July 4th, and shot three rolls of Provia 100 slide film. I used f-8, or f-5.6 and bulb setting for every shot, but experimented with varying shutter speeds. I did notice that the shorter shutter speeds of 1 second or less produced more vivid colors than the longer exposures of several seconds. (I posted a few "keepers" on my web site in the category "Fire on High".)
