Los Caballito Cantina

"The Sea Horse"

One of the many intriguing restaurant/"watering holes" on Passyunk Avenue in South Philadelphia.
----
This was the street on which the 8th Annual Car Show and Street Fair was held on the "Day of the Deluge" last Sunday.
----
I was intrigued by the pipes coming out of the wall and the receptacle into which they appear to be emptying.

These amazing murals "blue me away" much more so than the antique cars on display.

Painted on opposite sides of the wall, Bill posed that the opposing points of view depicted are War and Peace. But I thought Science vs Religion. Perhaps both are correct. Any other interpretations out there?

Just so you know it's a car show!

Philadelphia has more murals than any other city in the world.

Everything on this page tells me that you have a winning picture to add to your collection. Colors beautiful, the lettering fabulous, the doors and the windows so unique and gorgeous. The people just add a special look to the picture. Looks like someplace you would find in old world settings. It is beautiful and I would enjoy a place like this to have a brew and take it all in. A work of art Michelle. Love it.

No one can tell a story better with pictures then you do Michelle. All three of these pictures deserve a gold if it were up to me. I'm sure the Cantina did a brisk business when the rains came down.
