Welcome to One Womans Nature Join me on my travels throughout the world. From images nearby in Rochester, MN to my summer quest to photograph common loons on Lake Namakagon in Wisconsin to my winter trips to watch the acrobatic humpback whales off the shores of Maui, Hawaii to the ends of the earth and everywhere in between. Trips for photograph came to a halt during the pandemic, but in 2023, I checked off another bucket list destination, Baja Mexico to see and touch the "friendly" gray whales. We are also now nearing the peak of the Solar cycle and have the potential to witness the breathtaking phenomenon of the aurora borealis.
