I enjoy photographing subjects with vibrant colors, dramatic light and unique visual appeal. I am open to new technologies and have embraced digital photography, preferring it to film. My subjects include wildflowers, landscapes, animals, urban settings and abstract subjects.

I am predominantly a landscape photographer specializing in Texas wildflowers. I also shoot other nature and outdoor subjects as well as animals. I have been practicing photography for over 20 years. I am self taught, learning by studying the work of others and by trial and error. I currently shoot primarily with a digital SLR and and 4x5 field camera using medium format roll film. In the past I used 35mm film as well. I look forward to the day when digital backs for view cameras become affordable enough so I can shoot exclusively digitally.
