Welcome to my gallery and thank-you for taking the time out of your own busy day to take a peek.

Every picture here captures a moment in time and a story for that time. They are just a small representation of people, places, and scenes I have seen in my life. So enjoy...

Bio

I have been taking pictures for years with a variety of cameras. 110's (remember those), Minolta 35mm in college, Canon 35mm EOS Rebel and slowly worked my way into Digital Photography.

My first digital camera was an Olympus 2040Z (2.1 MP) which was stolen from a school I was working in about 4 years ago. My next camera was a Fuji FinePix S602z and was a nice camera but made me want to learn more and the more I used it the more I learned about the limitations and what I couldn't do. Currently I am using a Canon 40D with assorted lenses.

People tell me I have a "good" eye when it comes to photography and I think we all know when the picture feels right and I have learned how to take better pictures by receiving comments and critiques from other people.

I live in Connecticut, teach in a middle school, teach photography classes to kids, have strong technology and software skills, and take my camera everywhere.

I have 3 high school teenagers, an 18 year old senior and 15 year old twin freshman (boy & girl). A very cute picture of them is in my gallery when they were much younger.

My goal is to reestablish myself as a photographer, to keep learning and to feed my creative soul.

Thanks for the visit and happy shooting.

Michael
