Hej hej!
Well, where to get started? I was born 1982 in Germany and lived there the first 15 years of my life, until my family decided to move to Sweden. And here I am!
Nowadays I work and study as a PhD student at the University of Lund. Being specialised in experimental nuclear physics, I do research in nuclear structure physics. Now that sounds 'dry', doesn't it? Well, it really isn't! I enjoy it very much :)
In my free time I may have some odd hobbies regarding my profession. I love to compose music, play the electric guitar, write poetry, etc...
With photography I got started as a 7-year old holding his first full-auto compact camera. At that time this interest was not really developed, and it rather quickly died when I became a teenager. As I moved to the south of Sweden to study at the university, I got started with photography again, and that time it was supposed to last and become more serious.
I started out taking photos of macros and landscapes, and it wasn't until 2005 I discovered humans to be rather appealing photographic victims ;) I love to analyse pictures and get that perfect composition - yet, often I am too bad to directly get that perfect pictures, taking quite some time to think makes objects move or disappear :P
My goal is perfection, and I know I will never reach it, but nothing will stop me from trying. I don't want to get stuck in one type of photographic style or motive, love to be creative and try to capture often seen things with a new approch.
I want to improve, there is so much to learn!
So please be hard when critizising my pictures... in a constructive way. A comment pointing out both good and bad things is so much more giving than a "Oh, so beautiful.", even if the viewer means it :)
Now go and take some amazing shots! So long!
