While I do shoot the occasional portrait and have done some weddings and gathering my first love is photographing nature. I have always enjoyed being outside and have my camera with me always.
When outside there is very little control over lighting and none over the subject. That makes it a challenge that can be extremely rewarding when the right shot comes and you have been patient and are at the ready.

Bio

My name is Ron and I am partner in the studio The Total You, photography and design.
I started shooting for real when I was in college but took a very long sabbatical and have only been back in the hunt for a little over a year. Of course in my college days it was all film and I operated out of a small b&w darkroom in my basement. My partner Jill brought me into the digital age and I have been snapping happily away ever since.
I shoot with two Sony cameras, the F707 and F717.
