I discovered photography and BetterPhoto when I was at home for over a year in 2004 with an injury. My gardens and nature became close companions. The film camera I started out with quickly gave way to my first digital.
A largely self taught photographer, I have learned a lot thanks to the incredible, talented photographers on this site who share their work and their knowledge. Not only do they stimulate my creative side, but they inspire me to learn and improve my own work. I especially enjoy participating at BetterPhoto for the camaraderie of fellow photography enthusiasts.
I find photography to be a personal challenge, an expression of ourselves and the world as we see it. What a thrill to have others enjoy it too! Thanks for stopping by and viewing my gallery!
