I am a professional photographer shooting portraiture in homes and on location. I prefer to go to people's homes or favorite spots because the pictures I get are much more spontaneous and relaxed than what is usually produced in a studio.
I do still life and tabletop photography and have recently begun shooting for stock as well.
I have been photographing for thirty years and have a large collection of images that I am now marketing as fine art. I hope you enjoy them on my website which you can access by clicking on the link below.

I started taking pictures when I was in junior high school, but I didn't really get "the bug" until after a vacation in California where I only had an Instamatic with me. I promised myself I would never go on vacation anywhere again without a good camera.
My father, knowing how I felt, gave me his Canon FTb in 1974 and that changed everything. Now I could take pictures that could be enlarged and projected and they could show the beauty of what I saw instead of making people guess at it.
I had dreamed of becoming a professional photographer for nearly thirty years and now I am one. Granted, I'm just beginning the business aspect of it, but I'm pursuing a dream. I will be taking pictures of people in their homes and at their favorite locations, because I find that much of the studio work I see looks artificial and the subjects look uneasy.
I have a Canon Digital Rebel and an EOS 20D. I currently have the 18-55 EF-S and the 70-200mm f4/L lenses. I use the Canon i9900 Inkjet printer and I plan on getting a scanner to take the many negatives and slides I have and digitize them. I have 2 White Lightning 1600x units and a White Lightning 800x.
If you live in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island or the New York Metropolitan area, I will come to your house or nearby location and shoot portraits of you and your loved ones. If you want to pay my travel expenses , I will travel further. :-) I promise you will enjoy the process of having the pictures done and you will love the results.
