In 2001 I got a digital camera because I wanted to take a picture of the sunset or sunrise on our coffee farm almost everyday. I fell into the macro lens. I photographed the same flowers over and over -- in different lights until I got nice images. I only had 1.3 megapixels so taught myself to shoot "in camera." My husband, Peter started telling me that I had a good "eye." I finally believed him. When I got my next camera, a Nikon Coolpix 4500 I discovered my passion. Raindrops! I got a Coolpix 8700 that I flat wore out. I sell to galleries and have won some awards. Amazing! In March '06 I got a Nikon D50 SLR and a 60mm lens and a 18 - 55 lens. I don't know how I ended up in an art form full of numbers, but I am constantly amazed and blessed by the glimpses of nature that come up on my screen. Thanks for looking!
