Bio

Hello! My name is Casi and this is my eighth year running my professional equine photography business. I am extremely pleased with the growth and improvement I see in my work consistently. My goal is to keep improving my shooting and editing until I retire, there is so much to learn in this field. I believe that is part of the reason this business is so good for my well being, I love a challenge, and the styles and techniques are always changing. I take part in several professional photographer's networks to make it easier for me to stay up to date, and also find inspiration for new work.

I've never been without a horse in my life. From the time I was 3 years old riding my first pony all over the farm, to my first BLM Mustangs when I was a teenager, and now my very own Spanish Mustangs. Horses are my life, and my passion.

Taking pictures of horses has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My natural talent for it started to show through when I was in high school. As soon as I was out of school I started my business, bought a nice film camera, and took some photography courses through the local tech college. My business started out very part time, but am now working full time taking pictures, editing photos, processing orders, and doing paperwork. This is a one woman show!

Big news! I have signed with The Horse Image Source, a stock photo agency. They will be representing my photos for stock uses. THIS is set to launch very soon! What this means to my business is: my need for lots of good horse and people models, customers who are willing to sign standard releases, and more time for me to shoot and process stock imagery. I will not be shooting many shows from here on out.

Thanks for reading my new bio, I hope you have gotten a feel for who I am and what I do. I would love to chat horses and photography with you!
