I have a special connection with animals and consequently that is where my best shots come from. My goal is to shoot shots that have a purpose..that make people laugh or smile...or want to know more. Take shots that evoke emotion. Most of all to constantly improve in my photography and never stop learning.

Bio

One of the most gratifying experiences I can have taking portraits of people is for that individual to say "WOW, is that really me?" Its wonderful when people can see themselves as beautiful/handsome and as a result be more self confident.

The other thing that I love doing is making it fun for them to have their picture taken. It's important that they feel special and relaxed so their real personality shines through.

I have always loved photography but before digital arrived, I would take dozens of rolls of film but rarely got them developed. Six years ago my love for photography became a passion. I became very ill and didn't know if I would live another year. The experience was very enlightening and I began to question my career choice as a stockbroker for 21 years. I knew I had to do what I loved...photography. Knowing that I wasn't getting any younger, I took the plunge. I study everything about photography and photo editing. I study other peoples pictures. I don't regret moving in this direction...it is a joy.
