My love for nature has drawn me into taking pictures of it. I lived in the Seattle, WA area for nearly 20 years and occasionally got up into the mountains over there. I find a special peace and calming when I go to the wilderness areas of Montana. (which happens to be out my back door, literally). My goal is to capture that serenity in my pictures and bring it to others.

Bio

I have been 30 years in various fields of the construction industry. I started with photography while growing up, taking many pictures of my boy scouting adventures and really got into it in high school becoming a photographer on the newspaper and yearbook staff. Life being what it is, I went a different direction then where my passion was. I have had many point and shoot cameras over the years and taken some good pictures with them. About a year or so ago, I decided I wanted more from my photography and bought a Canon T3i Rebel. I loved it! I have an 18-55 and a 55-250 lens for it. Recently, I got a Canon 5D Mark II which I have a 50 and 70-300 lens for it with a 1.4x and 2x extender. I am still learning my Mark II. :) I live in Montana and love to get up into the mountains and shoot scenery and wildlife.
