Hello,
Photography is mostly a hobby, yet I do some professional work here and there. Previously worked as a wedding photographer in Hawaii. I have been living in Tokyo for about 15 years and my wife and I own and operate an English school. I really do appreciate any and all comments and would like to thank all of you in advance!!

Hello fellow photographers and others who visit this page.
My brother (Bob) gave me his SLR when he had an accident and was in the hospital. Thanks to him I became interested in photography. I studied photography at university, yet I feel I have learnt more by trial and error( shoot, shoot and shoot again).
In past, I have mainly shot landscape/scenery and have hundreds if not thousands of slides waiting to be scanned.
Recently, I have been shooting almost anything. Thanks to digital, you can shoot thousands of pictures and just toss them if you're not satisfied with the results. The investment (developing) I have in Fuji Velvia is quite substantial.
Still love the color of Velvia, but times r a changin.
At present, Im living in Tokyo with my wife Kimie, son, 3 year old daughter and 6 cats. We love cats and animals in general. We love vacationing in tropical places like Okinawa and Hawaii; thus the large number of scenic slides in my closet. One of my goals is to get some of them in a stock photo agency.
In my freetime, I love snowboarding and anything to do with water. Im somewhat of a powder freak always looking to leave fresh tracks in snorkle deep snow.
As for equipment, I started with a Canon AE-1 and currently have an EOS 1, Canon PowerShot Pro 1 and a dead Panasonic Lumix DMC-F1S.
