Hi, I'm a poet and photographer. My goals are to create photographs that are poems of light, and to write poems that illuminate. I use a Nikon D300 and a Nikon 200-400 lens. I photograph birds in flight whenever possible. I love raptors especially.
I love cats, having three and horses. Until recently I owned one, but will always be a horsewoman with a background in Dressage.
I have always loved taking photos, but when my (then new) husband took up photography with the camera I gave him, I encouraged him to pursue it. I took up dance professionally and he took over the bathroom with smelly chemicals.
When digital came around, I learned from my very experienced photographer husband on a film camera first. Then I took up digital. That was 6 years ago and I have been enchanted since.
I have always been a poet, having been published, won a few prizes and have self published much of my work. Now I combine them, seeking to give back the beauty of the world.
