My name is Claudine Bartels. I live in the beautiful Florida Keys. My first love is PORTRAITURE: Families, Babies, Children, Maternity, and Children's Sports Photography. I love to catch candid, natural, genuine moments in children's and family's lives. I really have fun engaging, playing with, and getting to know children, allowing them to become comfortable and at ease so I can capture their true personalities in photographs. I live for that moment of contact with a child's eyes. I have as much fun as kids do during photo shoots!
My second focus and great passion is NATURE, MACRO, and LANDSCAPE photography. I absolutely love being outdoors, hiking, experiencing nature at it's rawest, and capturing its beauty. I have a strong biology background with a BS in Biological Oceanography and a MS in Marine Biology, so the more I can get outside, either above or below the water, the happier I am. I can spend hours in a field searching for and photographing dragonflies, dew-covered spiderwebs, bees, birds, and flowers.
