Hi, I'm Kelvin Murphy and am happy to be here. I started dabbling in photography while in the U.S. Navy with a Pentax Spotmatic II in the early 70's. Since the cost of film was high, my skills didn't improve much, and my interest in photography gave way to other things. In the 80's I was fortunate enough to travel the west of the US and began shooting slide film. Again, other interests took over my spare time and I didn't pick up a camera again until I got a Nikon D-80, my first digital camera. That experience didn't last long as now I realized there was such a thing as post-processing, a task I had no talent for. Now that I've retired I've had the time to take a couple of workshops and improve my processing skills. Hopefully those skills will improve over time as photography is now my main interest.
If you view my gallery, I hope you will find something you enjoy. My goal is to be able to capture images that speak to myself, and hopefully to you as well.
