Bio

It seems I have always had a camera in my hand.
At 10, I was taking pictures of my nieces and nephews with a polaroid camera of my mothers. Ha ha - until I used up all of her film. Soon after - I picked up my mothers Voigtlander never looked back.
At 18 I while taking a darkroom course, I was hired to manage a studio in my home town. Did that for a year until I went to work in a lab and going to school at night.
For years Children, and family were my main subject.
Now with most family members grown, I find myself being able to do more macro and landscape for myself. With sports, wedding and travel pictures for others.
I am soon to have my first grandchild - so I expect my circle of photography to start all over again!
My goal is to make these pictures closer art works - unlike the snapshots I was taking in the 70's.
