My favorite things to shoot are my dogs. I also enjoy infrared photography and macro and am working on improving my understanding of the technical aspects of photography. I appreciate any and all technical assistance.

I've spent the better part of my photographic life doing everything wrong... although I did enjoy lugging my 35mm SLR through the woods. A short year ago I got my digital camera. The instant feedback was a great aid to the learning process. I have to admit I didn't know an f-stop from a shortstop but I have learned a lot from the online photo sites. I learned by reading comments and pouring over technical details which I then tried to employ. My goals are just to become a better photographer. I'd love to take some of the courses here at BP. I especially love to photograph my dogs and try hard to create an emotional experience in the photograph. I hope to learn a lot from everyone here. I have been a member since 3/27/2002 12:12:32 AM.
