Not until the digital world evolved, did I get interested in photograpy as a hobby... I was an armchair photographer, often with a "coffee table" edition on the go.
I used to "take" pictures, back in film days, but rarely developed them... too much money to stick them in a box somewhere. However, with the digital evolution, combining my love of computers, software, design and an appreciation for what I see around me, sparked the interest again in the last few years. But, even, with my first digital, I was more a point and click person, than one that really thought things out... but, I was pleased with some results. Finally, recently, I made the leap and bought a Nikon D40... and then a couple of extra lenses, a tripod, etc... I was hooked. I belong to several clubs, which have inspired me, and taught me so much about this world... especially, all that I don't know. I have met so many talented and wonderful people here. It's all good!
