I'm an amateur photographer from North Alabama. I've loved photography all my life, but really got serious about it in the fall of 2005 when I purchased a Nikon D70s. I shoot with a D80 now and have an assortment of lenses, filters, flash, etc.
I have a particular love of nature photography, especially waterfalls, but will photograph just about anything. I like to try new things, but have a lot to learn.
The quality of photography on Betterphoto is astounding. I have a huge gallery on Flickr at www.flickr.com/photos/bamawester if you would like to check that out. There are many amazing photograhers on Flickr, but I have been impressed with the quality and talent on this site,too.
The online seminars here are a fantastic idea and I plan to take advantage of a few of them.
