When I have a camera in front of my face my IQ falls about 50 points, while my overall bravery level raises. This is probably not such a good thing. However, because of this photography has helped me to overcome many of my fears and has fostered in me a wider understanding of and appreciation for the natural word-- particularly for our little green brothers, the insects. Macro photography provides the opportunity to look into their world, rendering the ordinary in an extraordinary way-- revealing the universe in the heart of a flower.
