To capture a moment of beauty, whether it be in a city, town, by the sea, in the mountains or in a studio setup in your house is what drives my passion for photography. It is a challenge and always a learning experience that maybe someday I can come close to achieving. What I enjoy about this web site, is I can share my work with fellow photographers, who have the same passion.

HI! I started photography in 1975, when I first got married. I found myself enjoying taking pictures of landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes, architecture and abstract right from the beginning. I started out with a Pentex Spotomatic F, w/ one prime lens, using Kodochrome 100. Nine years later, I had 2 Spotomatics, 5 lenses, shooting color slides and black & white print film. I was using a darkroom for the B&W and enjoyed it. In 1984, my 2nd child was born and with 2 high maintenance kids, my creativity was Stressed!
Last year, (12/2004), I retired (disability... MS), and to keep busy, I went back into photography. On 12/2005, I upgraded to an EOS 20D, from a Fujipix S7000. I have a Cannon i9900 printer and have had a great time learning and experimenting all aspects of photography. My style has picked up where I left off 20 years ago. I have a lot to learn and have learned a lot and enjoy this hobby to no end. By the way, I am still married, and the kids are adults, doing just fine. Updated Note 9/2007: Last year I was contacted by an Stock Agency, who was browsing BP Galleries. I was invited to join, did so, was accepted and now do freelance work on lifestyles and tourism. I have since upgraded to a Canon 5D and an L Lens (The Best Camera and Lens I have ever used!) Cheers! Glenn.
