Bio

I have always loved photography simply because I love to try and capture special things or moments whether they be in nature or of family events that make you feel good in some way. I am an artist and writer who is really only just getting started as I left these things on the back burner to raise my two children. I am lucky enough to live on the border of a national park and am surrounded by some of the most amazing and inspiring nature that can be found here in the Adelaide hills. I love all animals and nature with a passion and hope to be able to use my art in some way to help preserve it. My pets include two sulphur crested cockies; Zackaria and Zoie, a female eclectus parrot called Ellie, two white ducks; Lily and Lidia, a ringtailed possum; Possie and a Shetland Sheepdog called Jack. I have an old Pentax camera that I used to use until I recently bought an Olympus Camedia digital camera with a tripod and since then I've gone crazy photographing everything outside. Animals and birds seem to sense that I love them and are very trusting of me, so I've been able to capture some lovely bird pictures that I never thought possible. In fact, the spinebill in my photo makes the same noise back at me that the camera makes when it takes a picture!
