First off, thank you for visiting my gallery. This site is fantastic and everyone here at BetterPhoto has been just wonderful. If anyone would like to leave some constructive critisism or comments there is a link below each picture. You can view the pictures either 30, 10 or 1 per page.
So why take pictures?..I'm sure that it could be described somewhat as an obsession. I shoot everything and anything that inspires me; which seems to be everything. I grow everyday and love every moment of it. I will continue to update this gallery, learn through others work and contribute as much as possible. For those of you looking for more photos or information about my work; please visit me at BoXphotography.ca

Bio

My name is Melanie. I was born and raised in a small town in Southwestern Ontario. My love for photography began in grade 10 when I made my first pinhole camera. It was amazing. I took my time putting it together and was ever so careful to ensure no light would sneak through. When it finally came time to take our first shot I was consumed with excitement. I had to stop myself from running to the darkroom to see how it had turned out. It was perfect. A shot of the back door in our school's old printing room. You could see the trees outside and the old machines inside. The light shone in just right. I knew as soon as I saw it that this was something I would love forever.
