Birds, in my opinion, are the grandest elements in nature. My photography primarily focuses on capturing those birds, or those natural moments, that I am fortunate enough to experience. Most of the photos will be of birds in Pennsylvania, where I live. However, periodically I submit photos from birding expeditions which I lead throughout the country.

I try to arrange my gallery into groupings of photos.

First section are photos from a recent trip to Southeast Arizona that I led on behalf of my employer.

Bio

I first became interested in photography while attending a birding expedition in South Texas. At that time, early 2005, I concentrated on digiscoping as I did not own a digital SLR.

My focus has been bird photography. A significant portion of my career is center on them, conservation their native habitats, and raising the awareness and appreciation of birds. I've begun leading birding expeditions in various portions of the states on behalf of my employer, and often speak about photography during these trips.

I've recently purchased a DSLR and Telephoto Lens to upgrade from digiscoping. Although I will always have my spotting scope with me for those long distance or sensitive shots, I hope to improve upon my photos with the new DSLR.

And, of course, you could find a few pictures of my two little girls in my gallery. They are the center of my universe, after all.

Hope you enjoy my gallery. Stop back often.
