HOW I GOT STARTED

At age 5, I took my Kodak Instamatic everywhere. For years, my grand-father displayed a two part picture of a motorhome I had attempted to take. The pictures didn't match but it was an homage to my will to photograph.

At age 13, I went to a local photo store everyday to look at a Minolta SLR camera. The salesman, obviously amused by my determination, never drove me away.

At age 27, I finally got my very virst SLR camera. A Pentax from a local used camera store. It died three days later.

But, there was no turning back, I soon as I got my refund, I headed to a nearby camera store and bought a brand new Nikon F65.

Two years later, after meeting my wife, we purchased a Nikon F75 so we could take pictures together. It has since become our main past-time. Since then, we bought a digital camera when my daugter was born and in early May 2005, at a garage sale, I bought an old Fujica SLR for 40$

EQUIPMENT

Nikon D70s, F75 with 24-85mm AF-G, 70-300mm AF-G, 60mm f2.8 AF-D (macro), and 50mm f1.8 AF-D lenses.
Fujica ST-801 with Fujinon 55mm f1.8 lens
Opus 40w and 100w studio flashes with softbox, barn doors, and umbrella
Nikon SB-600 Flash.
