I like to shoot nature, landscapes, and boating pictures. Recently I've been trying my hand at portraits which has been very fun. I've emailed others on BP to get some lighting and portrait suggestions and they've been very helpful.

Bio

I've always loved photography. I built my first enlarger at about age 10 out of a disguarded 2.25 x 3.25 bellows camera, a V-8 can for the light housing and a home made etched glass for a diffuser. Now I have a couple of digital cameras, a computer and an Epson printer. I like photography better than ever and the digital darkroom is wonderful. My wife and I enjoy boating in the Pacific Northwest so we take a lot of pictures on the water. She probably has more natural ability than I do, but I enjoy the mechanics and every once in a while I get a lucky shot too. I'm a software engineer with the ultimate goal of doing nothing but boating and capturing beautiful images.
